a wife, a mother, a female programmer, trying to make it all work
My technical bio reads something about being a programmer for Schipul, creators of the Tendenci software. I think it says that I'm a team leader and an experienced programmer. I've been a programmer at Schipul for 7 years or so and I manage the programming team so I guess that's about right.
My personal bio isn't much different. When I'm not working I'm spending time with friends and family. Or shopping. I have a shopping problem. Trying to quit. We're building a house so that's going to take away my shopping budget.
Recent newly wed even though James and I have been together for 4 years. We have three kids between us. Austin is my pride and joy. I will talk a lot about him on this blog. Now that Nathan and Keagan are my step children, I'm adapting to having 3 kids instead of one. I'll learn to include them more.
Here are a few quotes that I like:
* Accept that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue.
* Drive carefully. It's not only cars that can be recalled by their maker.
* Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.
* Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
mu husband, my children and their activities, friends and family - dogs are part of my family, music, computers, stupid romance novels that occupy my time while my husband is working graveyards!
